This extension is NOT recommended for use when creating accessible courses.

The Article Indicator extension indicates which article is currently in view on your Evolve course.

This article provides an overview of the Article Indicator extension, extension setup, and provides examples of Article Indicator extension configurations.

Extension overview


The Article Indicator extension indicates which article is currently in view on your Evolve course.

You enable the Article Indicator extension in the Extensions section in your Evolve course.

Extension set up


To enable the Article Indicator extension in your Evolve course, press the Extensions button in the top left and select Article Indicator.


Behavior section

  1. In the Behavior section, you toggle to Put indicator on left side. By default, the Article Indicator will appear on the right-hand side of your Evolve course page.
  2. Add an Article Indicator ARIA Label for screen readers, as needed.

Extension Examples


Below are examples that illustrate the Article Indicator extension setup:

Example 1 – displays the Article Indicator extension with the indicator, by default, showing on the right-hand side of the page.

Example 2 – displays the Article Indicator extension with the indicator configured to show on the left-hand side of the page.
