Outline

Within a page, you are able to add multiple components to build and structure your content. Adding images to your activities can be done easily within the Intellum platform.

In this article, we'll walk you through adding and formatting image components.

Add an Image Component

Add images to a page by clicking the + icon and selecting Image. You'll be prompted to select an image for upload to the page. Image components have a file size limitation of 10MB.

Additionally, images uploaded as a file component will be treated as a file component, giving you the opportunity to add or update the display name and image of the file.

Note: You have the ability to cancel photo, video, and file uploads.

Note: For security, all images and files uploaded to the Intellum platform use dynamic URLs which change frequently. For this reason, hosting images and files for external websites is not supported.

Format an Image Component

After an image is uploaded, you can click the three dots icon to the top right for additional customization options.

The gear icon opens the Image Properties menu where you can choose to insert a link and alt text to your image. Further customization allows you to choose whether linked images open in a new tab.

The ability to display an image as HiDPI will also be available. Enabling HiDPI will display an image at half its pixel dimension size to the learner.
