Accessible with Intellum Social, Feed helps you explore learning in the Intellum platform through a shared space where you can engage with fellow learners, instructors, and experts via posts and comments.

In this article, we’ll cover accessing and using Feed.

Access Feed


Feeds within Intellum Social are focused on specific user audiences. As a Social user, you may be invited to join a feed via a shared link - or - you may be added to a feed based on your existing group memberships in the Intellum platform.

When you follow an invite link shared by an administrator, you are immediately added to the appropriate Social feed.

If your organization uses Social and builds its Social feeds around Intellum Platform Groups, you can access Social applications by clicking the Social apps icons at the top of your current page.


You'll find your Social feeds listed on the left of your screen where you can switch between each feed or get an aggregate view of your feeds in All Feeds.

Feed Settings


Feed settings give you access to:

  • Leave a feed
  • Review the description for the feed
  • Update your notification settings
  • Subscribe to a daily digest email of notifications

Settings in your All Feeds  lets you filter which feeds' activities are included in All Feeds. Simply select or deselect a feed and click Update.

Posting in Feed


Click into the blank field labeled Add a new post to start a new post. Upload a file or add a link to your post - image, audio, video, and document files are supported.

Alongside a standard post, you can also connect with your peers through poll posts where you can poll feed members with a simple list of options. After voting, members can see the results of the poll.

Your posts are instantly shared with other feed members, giving you access to Edit or Remove  the post as needed.
