Credly Integration: Requirements & Setup

Intellum’s integration with Credly lets you grant Credly badges to learners for the successful completion of learning content in the Intellum Platform. You get all the benefits of connecting a best-in-class credentialing tool with Intellum, and your learners benefit from a seamless user experience that awards them with verifiable, shareable, and portable digital badges for their achievements.

This article lists the requirements of the Credly integration and provides an overview of the steps you'll follow to successfully connect Credly to Intellum.

Requirements

To successfully integrate Credly with the Intellum platform and issue Credly badges to learners:

• You must have an Organization account with Credly
• You must have administrative access to obtain the Organization ID and Authorization Tokens in Credly
• You must create, or have access to existing, Badge Templates in Credly

Obtain your Credly integration credentials

Follow these steps in Credly to obtain the information you need to successfully connect Credly with Intellum:

1. Navigate to Organization>Developers within Credly.
2. Select the Authorization Tokens tab.
3. Highlight and copy the Organization ID.
4. Copy the Token by clicking the Copy link.

Connect Credly to Intellum

Follow these steps in the Intellum platform to connect Credly using the Organization ID and Authorization Token you copied from your Credly account:

1. Navigate to Settings in the expanded admin nav panel.
2. Select the Apps tab and scroll to find Credly.
3. Select Authorize with Credly.

The platform prompts you to configure the Credly integration using the Organization ID and Token you copied from Credly - as seen below:

Click Save to authorize the connection.

Credly is now connected. The Apps page reflects the connection.

Remove Credly connection

Disconnect Credly from the Intellum platform by following these steps:

1. Navigate to account Settings in the expanded admin nav panel.
2. Select the Apps tab on the account Settings page to access App Settings.
3. Scroll to find Credly and click the Remove Connection link.
4. The platform will ask you to confirm the removal - click Ok.
