Once you've connected your BlueJeans account to the Intellum platform, the option to create BlueJeans meetings within the platform is available to any user who has permission to create events - both administrators and activity facilitators.

This article walks you through the experience of adding BlueJeans meetings as events in the platform.

Create a BlueJeans meeting


Admin experience

Admins will find the BlueJeans event type added to the New Event page. Follow these steps to create a BlueJeans meeting:

  1. Create a new event by adding an event to a new or existing scheduled activity.
  2. Fill in the event details - the event's name, start time, and end time (based on the duration you set) will be used to create your BlueJeans meeting.
  3. Select BlueJeans as the event Type.
  4. Add further information to the event - as needed.
  5. Click Save to create the BlueJeans meeting event.

Heads Up!

When you assign one or more event Facilitators to a BlueJeans meeting event, each facilitator is added to the meeting as a moderator.

Activity facilitator experience

Activity Facilitators will find the BlueJeans event type added to the Add New Event page.

  1. Navigate to Events.
  2. Select the My Events tab.
  3. Click New Event to add a new event
  4. Fill in the event details - the event's name, start time, and end time (based on the duration you set) will be used to create your BlueJeans meeting.
  5. Select BlueJeans as the event Type.
  6. Add further information to the event - as needed.
  7. Click Save to create the BlueJeans meeting event.
