Outline

To receive notifications from the Intellum platform directly to your browser, you have the ability to enable browser notifications. This feature is useful in ensuring that you're up to date with the arrival of new content and announcements.

In this article, we will go over how you can enable browser notifications, disable browser notifications, and re-enable browser notifications after disablement.

Enable browser notifications

To enable browser notifications, make sure you are logged into your account. Initially, you will see the option to enable these notifications upon logging in as seen below:

However, if needed, you can also follow the steps below to enable browser notifications:

  1. Click your user profile icon
  2.  Select My Profile
  3. Click Edit Profile
  4. Scroll down to the Notifications section, click Enable Notifications.

Note: Notifications can only be enabled on the individual learner level.

After they are enabled, notifications will look similar to the below image (depending on your browser) when they are sent:

Disable or re-enable browser notifications

Disabling browser notifications will need to happen at the browser level. This means that if you would like to disable your browser notifications, it will need to be done within your browser instead of the Intellum platform.

For resources on how to disable browser notifications, check out the below support articles:

Once they've been disabled, the option to enable notifications will be grayed out within your account:

To re-enable notifications, head over to your browser settings to change your preferences.
