This article provides Frequently Asked Questions related to Course Folders in Evolve.
How many characters can a folder name contain?
They can be between 2 and 100 letters and numbers, no special symbols.
How are folders sorted in the list?
Folders are sorted first in numerical then alphabetical order. Your Quick Access folders are sorted separately to the main list.
Can others see my Quick Access list?
No. Every user in your instance has their own Quick Access list which is not shared with others.
Why can't I delete a folder?
Folders must be empty before you can delete them. Open the folder, move the courses into another folder (or into All Courses) and once it is empty you can then delete the folder.
Can I nest folders?
Not at the moment.
How do I move a course into a folder?
You can drag a course into a folder, or use the 3 dots menu on the Course's tile. You can also multi-select courses and then choose the folder you wish to move them to.
